Closing
Closing Day & Getting You Paid
After subjects are removed I stay involved through to possession — coordinating with your lawyer, the buyer's agent, and your bank. On closing day you hand over the keys and the funds land in your account.
Kris's Tip: Don't forget to report the sale to CRA. If it wasn't your principal residence the whole time, capital gains or BC's flipping tax may apply.
